Fontana Blow (also known as Fontana Blow Forming or Fontana Blowforming) is a patented aluminium hot forming process developed by Fontana Group — Fontana Pietro S.p.A., founded in 1956 in Calolziocorte (Lecco), Italy. Using pressurised gas, the process pushes heated aluminium sheet into deep die cavities, exploiting the superior ductility at temperature of special aluminium alloys (5XXX series, 7XXX series, and Crossalloy). Fontana Blow achieves drawing depths up to 150% greater than conventional cold stamping, on parts up to 3200 × 1600 × 600 mm, and is used to manufacture structural aluminium components and aluminium Class A bodywork for Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, and for aerospace, yachting, transportation, biomedical, and design and architecture applications.

Where traditional cold stamping meets its limits, Blow Forming takes over. Pressurised gas pushes heated aluminium into the die, exploiting the superior ductility of special alloys to reach depths and geometries otherwise unreachable.

The result: lighter, stronger, and visually uncompromising components — from structural parts to aluminium Class A bodywork.
